Last Number Redial

Quickly redial the last number you dialed.
Use Last Number Redial to quickly redial the last outside number you dialed, without manually dialing the digits. The number
to redial can be up to 20 digits using any combination of
of whether your call was answered, unanswered or busy. There are two types of Last Number Redial: Standard and Enhanced.
One or the other is enabled for your extension - ask your communications manager.
Standard Last Number Redial
Standard Last Number Redial remembers just the last number you dialed. If you dial a new number, it replaces the previous
number in memory.
Enhanced Last Number Redial
Enhanced Last Number Redial allows you to select from the last 5 outside numbers dialed (including Speed Dial calls). The
newest call is at the top of the list; the oldest call is at the bottom. When you place a new call, the oldest call gets pushed off
the list to make room for the new one. If you user dial a number that is already stored in memory, Enhanced Number Redial
puts the new call at the top of the list and deletes the old duplicate.

Using Standard Last Number Redial

To redial your last call:
1. Lift the handset.
2. (Optional) Press an idle line key to preselect a line.
a) If you skip this step, the system automatically selects a line from the same group as your initial call.
3. Press
REDIAL
a) If you hear busy tone and your extension has Line Queuing, you can dial
b) If you hang up, the system converts the queue to a Line Callback.
With Line Queuing, the number automatically redials when a line is available.

Using Enhanced Last Number Redial

To redial your last call at a keyset:
1. Press
REDIAL
a) If you select a line key before this step, the newest call is automatically redialed when you press
(just like Standard Last Number Redial).
2. Press
VOLUME
3. To redial the displayed number, do one of the following.
a) Press
SPEAKER
b) Lift the handset.
c) Push
Dial
.
4. The system tries to use the same line as that used for your initial call.
a) If that line is busy, the system automatically selects a line from the same group as your initial call.
b) If you hear busy tone and your extension has Line Queuing, you can dial
c) If you hang up, the system converts the queue to a Line Callback.
With Line Queuing, the number automatically redials when a line is available.
