Installing an accessible 5¼ inch drive
Requirements:
● The device is removed from the rack (see section "Pulling out or removing the device from the
rack").
● The casing is open (see section "Opening the device").
► Undo the screw (1) and remove the drive cage from the device.
► If necessary, remove the cover of the drive bay.
► Slide the drive into the drive cage and secure it with three screws.
► Slide the drive cage into the drive bay in the direction of the arrow.
► Tighten the screw (1).
► Connect the data and power supply cables.
► Close the device (see section "Closing the device").
► Install the device in the rack again (see section "Installing the device in the rack").
If necessary, you must adjust the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup accordingly.
