Connecting The Bbu/Fbu Cable To The Raid Controller - Fujitsu Celsius C620 Operation Manual

System expansion
► Slide the BBU carrier in the direction of the arrow.
The heads of the shoulder screws on the base of the casing engage in the open ends of the key
holes on the BBU carrier.
► Make certain that the locking lever on the BBU carrier properly engages (see circle).

Connecting the BBU/FBU cable to the RAID controller

► Install a RAID controller (see section "Expansion cards").
► Connect the BBU/FBU cable to the RAID controller as described in the manual for the RAID
controller. You can find the manual for the RAID controller in electronic form on the "Drivers &
Utilities" DVD or on the Internet at http://ts.fujitsu.com/support.
CAUTION!

Ensure that the side of the connector with the three dots faces upwards (see illustration in
section "Connecting the BBU cable to the battery backup unit"). If the connector is
reversed there is the danger of a short circuit.
