POINts
POINts
command/query
The
:ACQUIRE:POINTS
command specifies the number of time buckets
for each acquisition record. The legal settings are
32,64,128,256,500,
512, or 1024.
Any
value between 32 and 1024 can be
sent
to the instrument.
If
a
value
is
sent
that
is
not one
of
the
legal values
it is
rounded to the nearest power
of
2.
If
a
number smaller
than 31 or greater than 1024
is
sent
an
error
is
produced.
The POINTS
query returns the number
of time
buckets to
be acquired.
Note
Always query
the
Waveform
Subsystem Points value to
determine the actual number
of
time
buckets acquired.
