Touch Screen Controls

The touch screen has selections for use during an exam for each operating mode and during
review.
Example of the touch screen layout.

Selections for the exam type and for transducers connected to the ultrasound system.
During measurements and annotations, the touch screen displays the name of the active function.

Tabs for operating modes, features, or functions.

Touch selections for the active mode, feature, or function.
Tap the touch screen to make a selection.

Selections for the press and rotate controls directly below the selections.

Controls correspond to the touch screen selections directly above the controls.
Press, rotate, or press and then rotate a control to make a selection or change a setting.

Symbols on the Touch Screen

Symbol
Description
Indicates a port is available for connecting an array transducer to the system.
Indicates a port is available for connecting a continuous wave (pencil) transducer to the system.
Accesses additional pages of selections or selections for additional features and advanced
imaging, including selections for lighting adjustment and for the digital video recorder.
Accesses additional selections.
Indicates a selection assigned to a control with both push and rotate functions.
The box is solid when the selection is activated.
A rectangular outline indicates the selection currently assigned to a dual-function control.
