You can insert NC block numbers at the current cursor position in the text:
• Select the Block Number menu item by pressing the appropriate softkey.
The parameters of the block numbers can be defined in the Block Number
Options dialog box (see below).
Certain settings can be made for WEdit in the Options menu.
Here, settings are defined for backup copies and for starting in insert mode:
• Select the General command from the Options menu. The "WEdit -
General Options" dialog box appears.

• You can use the ARROW keys to switch the input focus between the two
boxes. You can select each of the check boxes using the SPACE key.
• Select the "OK" button to save the option settings.
When this option is selected, WEdit automatically starts in insert mode. The
input cursor appears as a blinking line | .
If the option is not selected, WEdit starts in overwrite mode. The input cursor
now takes the form of a blinking square .
