Redundancy via SCA-RS
The following parameters are excluded from the copy operation
•
System-technical parameters:
─ The addressing of the redundant BSE
─ The setting, whether the BSE is an Original or an Image
─ Settings for the PREs of a BSE
─ Settings for priorities, refer to sections 1.2.3.3,
and 1.2.3.4, Settings for BSEs (CPU Redundancy)

Process-technical parameters:
─ All redundancy control messages
─ All redundancy status information messages
─ All error messages
─ All communication control messages
─ All PRE control messages
─ All PRE status information messages
All other parameters (CAEx plus application, data points of singular PEs, BSE settings,
selective data flow routing ...) are acquired by the mirroring.
This is how you mirror the parameters from the Original-BSE to the Image-BSE:
•
Select the first BSE of the redundancy pair (C4: CP-2017/PCCX25)
•
In the context menu select the entry Copy mirror parameters
•
Select the second BSE of the redundancy pair (C5: CP-2017/PCCX25)
•
In the context menu select the entry Paste mirror parameters
If the elements of the redundancy pair are configured differently (one is e.g. configured with
one PE and I/O-modules, the other not), the following message appears:

Click OK.
