CM-6820 (Key Switch Module)

The key switch module can be used by either in AUTO or MANUAL mode of operation.
In the mode of operation MANUAL you can select the respective SICAM AK system which is
intended to be active. In the mode of operation AUTO, CP-6010 decides the active SICAM AK
based on the voting logic.
The following figure shows the CM-6820 in DIN-rail mounted position.
The CM-6820 consists of a key switch with three positions and the functions controlled by
the key switch are as follows:
─ Position AK A
If the selected key switch position is AK A, the CP-6010 switches the SICAM AK A to
be active, independent of the error states of both SICAM AK
─ Position AUTO
If the selected key switch position is AUTO, the voting function is enabled and the
active SICAM AK is decided by active CP-6010 based on the error conditions of both
the SICAM AK
─ Position AK B
If the selected key switch position is AK B, the CP-6010 switches the SICAM AK B to
be active, independent of the error states of both SICAM AK
CM-6820 consists of two LEDs - RY1 and RY2 which indicates the availability of the
CP-6010 when it is connected and powered-up
X1 and X2 are the serial interfaces of CM-6820 which connects to the respective CP-6010
interfaces.
