Loading Firmware

You can download current firmware codes as loadable file via
(Download Area, Product family: SICAM RTUs, Download: Software Updates).
If this access is not at your disposal, please contact your project manager at Siemens.

RED26 Redundancy
Before you supply the CP-6010 with voltage, copy the current version of the firmware into the
root directory of a SD card formatted with the file system FAT16.
After that, insert the SD card into the target system and switch the power supply on. While the
target system restarts,all the new data is being loaded into the flash memory and being
configured. This can take up to 5 minutes.
After an errorless restart, the error LED is extinguished and the ready LED is lighting.

SD Card Error

If the SD card is not in the target system or defective, then an error information is recorded in
the diagnosis.
