Flash FDD

Flash FDD is a device that is compatible with a floppy disk drive.
Flash FDD is used when:
Collecting the hardware logs
Refer to Chapter 1 (12. Offline Tools).
Only one Flash FDD can be connected to a USB connector of this server. If another USB or floppy disk drive is
connected to this server, be sure to disconnect it.
The write protection of Flash FDD is the status before connecting it to this server. If you want to change the write
protection status, remove Flash FDD from the server, change the write protection switch, and then connect it
again.
CAUTION
Be extremely careful not to lose Flash FDD or have it stolen.
If Flash FDD is lost, stolen, misappropriated, or fraudulently obtained, there is a risk of
leaking confidential information to a third party. NEC assumes no responsibility for
damages caused by leaking confidential information in this way.
Note
Be careful not to accidentally flip the write protection switch while connecting
Flash FDD to or removing it from the server.
