Maintenance Check Item
Check the instrument

Lubricate all the grease
fittings.

Raising the Machine

DANGER
Mechanical or hydraulic jacks may fail to
support the machine and cause a serious
injury.
• Use jack stands to support the raised
machine.
• Use only mechanical or hydraulic jacks to
lift the machine.
Raising the Front of the Machine
Important:
Ensure that no cables or hydraulic
components are between the jack and the frame.

1. Front jacking point—frame

point—front axle tube

Chock the 2 rear wheels with chocks to prevent
the machine from moving.
2.
Position the jack securely under the desired
jacking point.
3.
After raising the front of the machine, use an
appropriate jack stand under the machine frame
to support the machine.
