5.5.1 Cable Connection Precautions

Routing Rule
The armoring layers of armored cables should be grounded.
The PDC ground cable should be secured to the equipment room ground bar.
Use a contact multimeter to measure the resistance between the PDC ground
cable and the equipment room ground bar. The reading must be less than 0.1
ohm.
Cables should be securely connected in the correct phase sequence.
Cables must be neatly arranged and cable insulation layers must be intact.
Different types of cables must be routed separately.
Connection ports and cabling methods must facilitate maintenance, cable
routing, and capacity expansion.
Cable connectors prepared onsite must be secure, reliable, and neat, and
conform to specifications.
Power cables, ground cables, and various signal cables must be securely
connected. Adapters must be securely plugged or screwed.
Ensure that all circuit breakers, including upstream output circuit breakers, are switched
to OFF before connecting cables.
Each terminal on the N bar and PE bar can connect only one cable.
OT terminals must be coated with a heat shrink tubing.
Cables can only be routed from the top for the integrated PDC.
Input and output power cables are routed behind the PDC, and monitoring cables are
routed from the front and connected to the MDU. Secure the cables to fastener holes on
the panels using cable ties. Ensure that strong current cables are separated from weak
current cables.
Bundle the N and PE cables separately from the L1/L2/L3 or L cables for each circuit
breaker when routing cables. Converge them at the beam and bind each group of them
using cable ties. Ensure that each group has no more than 15 cables.
