Site Controller Startup Sequence

Connect an RS-232 cable from the serial port on the service

computer to "Service Access" connector on the front of
Controller A.
Apply power to the service computer.

After the service computer initializes, the first prompt on the screen
identifies the hard drive name. This is most commonly the C:\ drive, but
can vary depending on what type of computer is used and how it is
configured.

The service computer must contain serial port communications

software (e.g. ProComm plus).
The following procedures are written for DOS-based service
computers. For Macintosh service computers, alternate procedures
are available from your iDEN System Manager .
Invoke the communications program by typing:

C:\IDEN> procomm
Using the communications software, configure the service computer
