Installing 8x2.5-inch drive model internal DVD drive installation
kit / Optical Drive
8x 2.5-inch drive model supports Internal DVD Drive Installation Kit (N8154-112 : Optional) by installing to Drive
Bay (Box1) and can install the optical drive (Optional) into it.

Installing the internal DVD installation kit

Please prepare the following before installing the options.

Parts included in the option kit

T-15 hexalobular drive
To install the components, follow these steps.
1. Back up all data in the server.
2. See steps 1 to 7 in Chapter 2 (1.2 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
3. Remove the screws (x2) and remove the blank cover of the Drive Bay(BOX1).

Note
In order to prevent the damege for the electric parts, start the installation of sysmte after
providing power anti-static treatment. If a proper earth is not provided, electrostatic
discharge may occur.
Note
Keep the blank cover for future use.
