3. Power Supply and Reset Operation

3.1. Outline

This section describes how to turn on a power supply, and how to assert and deassert a Power On Reset and
reset.
Function classification
Cold reset
(Reset by turning on a power supply)
Warm reset
(Reset without turning on a power
supply)
Reset by STOP2 mode release
Factor
Reset which occurs at the time of turning on or off a
Power On Reset
power supply.
Reset which occurs when a power supply voltage is the
LVD reset
set-up voltage or below.
Reset pin
Reset by a RESET_N pin
Reset which occurs at the time of a power supply turning
PORF reset
on or turning off. It is for Flash memory and Debug Circuit
with priority.
Reset by SIWDT, OFD, LVD, LOCKUP, and
Internal reset
<SYSRESETREQ>
Reset pin
Reset by a RESET_N pin
Reset which is performed to Main Power Domain during
Interrupt
return operation from the STOP2 mode.
(STOP2REQ)
Reset when DVDD5 is equal to or less than the voltage
LVD reset
which is set on LVD circuit.

Reset by a RESET_N pin
