2.10.14. Controller Maintenance
This menu item includes maintenance functions such as new firmware on BIOS
downloading
1 Use the keys to select "Controller Maintenance" and press [Enter]. The fol-
lowing submenu will be displayed:
2 Use the keys to select the desired function and press [Enter].
3 A prompt for confirmation similar to the following will be displayed. Type Y to
confirm or use
4 For running Text RAID Manager "RAIDMAN.EXE", a message similar to the
following will appear, select Yes for downloading.
For RS-232 Terminal Interface Operation, a message similar to the following
will appear indicating the controller is awaiting a response from the host:
5 For running RAID manger "RAIDMAN.EXE", typing the file name to be down-
loaded with drivers path where the downloaded file can be found and press [En-
ter] when following screen appears:
For RS-232 Terminal Interface Operation, download operation has been selected,
have the host communication program "send" the file containing the data to be
downloaded using ZMODEM protocol.
