5 System Operation and Maintenance
Possible Causes
Protection against
overheating of the
compressor drive board
is triggered.
The compressor drive
board of the outdoor
unit is faulty.
Solution
1. Check whether the
fan speed of the
outdoor unit is
normal.
2. Check whether
refrigerant in the
system is
insufficient, which
causes the outdoor
unit fan to operate
at a low speed.
3. Check the
installation
environment of the
outdoor unit to see
whether the heat
dissipation of the
outdoor unit is poor
and whether the
outdoor unit is
blocked.
4. Check whether the
fins of the outdoor
unit are polluted,
which causes the air
intake volume of
the outdoor unit to
be small.
1. Check the
compressor status.
2. Check the
connection status of
the compressor and
the drive board.
3. Check the status of
the compressor
drive board.
4. Replace the
compressor drive
board or
compressor.
