5 System Operation and Maintenance
Possible Causes
1. The evaporator fins
are dirty or blocked.
2. The indoor air filter
is dirty or blocked.
3. The indoor fan drive
or indoor fan is
faulty.
4. The low pressure
sensor cable is not
properly connected.
5. The low pressure
sensor is faulty.
6. Refrigerant leaks.
7. The indoor unit is
not properly
installed.
8. The stop valve is
not fully open.
9. The connecting pipe
is bent.
10.The EEV is faulty.
The Comp Suction LP
Alarm is triggered
multiple times within a
specified period of
time.
Solution
1. Clean the
evaporator fins.
2. Maintain or replace
the indoor air filter.
3. Maintain or replace
the indoor fan drive
or indoor fan.
4. Check the cable
connections to the
low pressure sensor.
5. Maintain or replace
the low pressure
sensor.
6. Identify and repair
the leaking points,
and refill refrigerant
after maintenance.
7. Reinstall the indoor
unit.
8. Check and fully
open the stop valve.
9. Check and replace
the connecting pipe.
10.Maintain or replace
the EEV coil or EEV.
