FAULT: Battery zone xxx address xx, Technical number xxxxxx
Valid for the wireless detectors 4611. The battery voltage is < 2.8 V,
batteries have to be replaced..
FAULT: Charger, Control Unit xx
The battery charging function is not functioning. The main board may
have to be replaced.
FAULT: Charging external power supply, Control Unit xx
The fault is to be found in the external power supply equipment, which
has a charging fault output connected to a programmable input in
Control Unit no. xx.
FAULT: Charging output unit xxxxxx
The fault is detected if an external power supply unit 3366 or 4466
connected. Charging is stopped due to too high output current.
FAULT: Checksum MMI program, Control Unit xx
A fault in the Control Unit xx MMI board software. LED "System fault" is
turned on. Call for service personnel immediately. Software/firmware
download may correct the fault otherwise the MMI board may need to be
replaced.
FAULT: Checksum system program, Control Unit xx
A fault in the Control Unit xx Main board software. LED "System fault"
is turned on. Call for service personnel immediately. Software/ firmware
download may correct the fault otherwise replace the MMI board.
FAULT: Control unit xx has no contact with Control Unit xx, network x
network x = network 0 or network 1
Network 0: In a redundant network, the communication is normally on
Network 0 only.
Network 1: In a redundant network, Network 1 is normally in a
supervised quiescent state until a fault is generated (cut-off or short
circuit) on Network 0.
Check the TLON network cables / connections. (Also for mixed
Network 0 and Network 1 cables.)
Faulty TLON connection board 5090.
The Control Unit has no power.
Can be shown in conjunction with new S/W download.
FAULT: Cut-off tech addr nnn <-> nnn [sup-loop x], loop x, CU xx
This fault is indicating a cut-off (break) on COM loop x or the COM loop
voltage is too low at the end of the loop.
Tech add nnn <->nnn describes between which Short Circuit Isolators
the cut-off is located.
n = Technical address of the unit with short circuit isolator A, B, 0, 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 6 .....128. A & B are the built-in isolators in the FT1020G3 A-
direction and B-direction respectively.
If a single break occurs (cut-off) on the loop, other fault messages will
display.
If there are several breaks on the loop the message shows the last
isolator before the break in the A-direction (incl. the following isolator).
There will also be a "FAULT: No reply ....." message for each unit that
FT1020G3 cannot find and "FAULT: Multiple faults ...".
