A fan reset switch is provided to independently restore the fan status to the non-alarm
condition as required by AS1670.1:2015 section 7 i.e. reset the alarm in the FDCIE will not
restore the fans to the non-fire condition until the reset switch is pressed.
Two new features are added in the new 19" rack version:
1. Added a fan phase fault LED for each fan to indicate a phase failure in one of the
phases suppling power to the fan. The Phase fail fault indicator conforms to the
requirements of AS1670.1:2015 clause 7.15.6. Same LED exists in the damper
module to indicate power loss to the damper.
2. A common fire mode indicator is added to each module to indicate general fire
alarm.
A remotely located (mechanical services) 4461 module is required for each fan/damper
and configured in the control panel using control type "Fire Ventilation" in EBLWin.
For standard fan configuration e.g. smoke exhaust fans, the standard mode can be used
to program 4461, only one relay required to start / stop the fan whilst for more configuration
options e.g. supply air fans, the enhanced mode is used to provide separate relays to start
and stop the fan.
Controls and indicators of the fan module are explained in EBLWin "Help" and drawings
shown in Figure 24 page 176.
Note: label of damper control module is different to indicate damper status and controls
and configured separately on the EBLWin.
