[Yes]: The same display appears as when you
execute the "Save as" command.

If you select "Cancel", KPG-71D ends and
the current configuration data is not saved.
[No]: The operation of KPG-71D ends and the
configuration data will not be saved.
[Cancel]: This option allows you to abort without
quitting the program.

4.2.3.2. Model

Select a protocol for communications between
KPG-71D and the KDS-100. A pull-down menu
appears when selecting the command from the
Menu.

Model Information

The following window appears when selecting "Model
Information" at the [Model] command.
Select a protocol to perform data transmission in this
window. There are two protocols; select the protocol that
suits your transceiver.
FleetSync (DMS) PC: Use this protocol if the
transceiver supports FleetSync: TK-780, TK-880,
TK-980, TK-981 series, etc.
FleetSync (DMS) AIR: Use this protocol if the
transceiver does not support FleetSync: TK-760G,
TK-860G, TK-762G, TK-862G, series etc. These
transceivers modulate radio frequency to support
FleetSync data.
Select an appropriate protocol and click [OK]. Click
[Cancel] to close the window without configuring the
protocol.

4.2.3.3. Edit

Configure the data that constructs the operating
environment of the KDS-100. The pull-down menu
appears when selecting the command from the
Menu.

Optional Features

This command allows you to adjust the configuration
that relates to the KDS-100 operation. The following
window appears when executing the command from the
Menu.

There are five tabs on the top of the window: Display,
Key, Tone, Radio, and Others. You can switch the
window by clicking these tabs to go to each
configuration display.

This tab allows you to configure the KDS-100 display.
・ Power ON Message
You can configure the setup display of the KDS-100
here.

・ List
The setup screen can be set to Off, Text, or Bitmap.
OFF: The setup screen will not appear.
Text: A text message appears on the setup screen.
Bitmap: A picture appears on the setup screen.
・ Duration
You can configure the display duration of the setup
screen. You can set the duration from 1 to 10 seconds,
in steps of 1 second, by pressing the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ and ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ keys on
the right of display. You can also directly enter a value,
but you cannot enter a decimal value or a number
larger than 10.
"Continuous" may appear when clicking buttons. The
sound keeps beeping when you have selected
"Continuous". Press the function key [1] to go to each
mode display. Enter 0 to set the display duration to
"Continuous"
