SUMMARY OF COMMANDS USED FOR HORIZONTAL
AND VERTICAL SCALING
In the case of <CTRL>-1 GO, if a dot appears on either page a dot
is printed.
When <CTRL>-1 GP is used, the positions of the dots on pages I
and 2 are compared and a dot is printed only if it appears in the same
position on both pages.

The #8133 interface makes it possible to print both the high
resolution graphics screens together in various combinations. The
commands avalable are:
<CTRL>-1 GW

<CTRL>-1 GX

<CTRL>·I GZ

ROTATING THE IMAGE
lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
<CTRL>-IGR
This command rotates the printed pages by 90
°
anticlockwise.
Normally, the image is printed with its long axis across the width of
the paper, so using the R option you can print an oversize image along
the length of the paper.
<CTRL>-1 GS

<CTRL>-1 GT

<CTRL>-1 GU

<CTRL>-1 GV

X axis
scaling
(horizontal)
factor
<CTRL>·I GW
<CTRL>·I GX
<CTRL>·I GY
<CTRL>-1 GZ
These commands all affect the depth of the image - the Y axis on
the screen. Taken in the order above they cause the Y axis to be scaled
by 2, 3, 4 and 8 times.
.
Obviously, you would not use two different instructions affecting
one axis at the same time, but the commands affecting different axes
can be used together. For example, the following line:
PRINT CHR$(9); "GSY"
would give a graphic print of twice the normal width and four times
the normal depth. These facilities for enlarging the axes of the image
can be used in connection with the <CTRL>-1 nQ command to restore
normal symmetry. This is described below.
<CTRL>·I GS
<CTRL>-1 GT
<CTRL>-1 GU
<CTRL>-1 GV
These commands cause the width of the printed image - the X
axis on the screen - to be multiplied by 2, 3, 4 and 5 times,
respectively. The depth
(Y
axis) of the image is not affected.

<CTRL>-IGD
This option prints an image double the size of that produced by
the <CTRL>-1 G command. For example in APPLESOFT:
PRINT CHR$(9); "G2D"
will instruct the interface to print a double sized image of graphics
page 2. If this image is printed on an 80 column printer, the right hand
part of the image will be ignored. It is possible to obtain the complete
screen by using the rotation command.
PRINT CHR$(9) ; "G2"
would give a copy of page 2. Similarly:
PRINT CHR$(9) ; "Gl2"
would give an inverse copy of page 2.
Hi-res page l (HGR) will always be printed for a single page
command, unless the character 2 is included to specify HGR2.
