Giving Commands to the
# 8133 Interface
To mark the beginning of a command addressed to the # 8133
interface
under DOS 3.3 or ProDOS, press <CTRL> and I simultaneously
under APPLESOFT, PRINT CHR$(9)
under CP/M or PASCAL, press <CTRL>and Y simultaneously.
A syntax error will be generated if <CTRL>I is entered directly
from the keyboard, rather than in a program, since it is not recognised
as a command by APPLESOFT. However. the command will still
function correctly. The remainder of the command is sent to the
interface as a string, consisting of single letter commands, and in some
cases a number, denoted by "n" in this summary. For instance, to set
the number of lines per page to 60 requires a command of the form
<CTRL>I nP. To achieve this in an Applesoft program use the
following line.
IO PRINT CHR$(9); "60P"
<CTRL>I A
<CTRL>I K
