The overlock stitch is used to avoid
fraying the edge of material.
Place edge of the material
under
presser foot so that the needle sews
material with its left side of zigzag
stitch and just misses the edge of
material with its right side of zigzag.

La puntada sobreorilla se usa para
evitar la deshiladura de los bordes
de la tela.
Ponga la orilla de la tela bajo el pren-
satelas para que la aguja cosa la tela
con la parte izquierda del zig-zag y
pierda la orilla de la tela con la parte
derecha del zig-zag.
