3 Shake the new toner cartridge up and down
about ten times to loosen up the toner inside.

Align the toner cartridge with the slots in the
machine, and then insert the cartridge until the
locking tab locks into place.
Make sure you are inserting the toner
NOTE
cartridge into the slot for the correct
color.

Slowly pull out the charger-cleaning tool as far
as possible. Next, slowly push in the charger-
cleaning tool as deep as possible.
Repeat the above operations three times.
Installing and Replacing the Toner Cartridge
6 Push the charger cleaning tool in securely, and
then close the front cover by holding both sides
of the front cover.
Do not refill the toner cartridge. It may

cause a malfunction.
The toner charging starts automati-
cally inside the machine after the front
cover is closed.
Do not turn off the power or open the
front cover while the toner is being
charged.
Exchanging the filter
ADD.
When the black cartridge is exchanged,
exchange the filter also.
The filter is packed with the black car-
tridge in the box.
When inserting the new filter, fully insert
it until it snaps into place.
