Accessibility Settings Feature
■ Extend Auto Reset
■ Notification Screen
When no action is taken at a screen (other than the stand-by screen) for the certain dura-
tion of time, the Touch Panel display goes back to the stand-by screen automatically with
displaying the Auto Reset Notice screen.
Select [Extend Auto Reset] from the Accessibility Settings screen to modify the duration
of time displaying the Auto Reset Notice screen before going back to the stand-by screen.
(Default configuration is one minute).
Select from [30 second], [60 second], [90 second], and [120 second].
Select [OFF] not to display the Auto Reset Notice screen at all, and go back to the
stand-by screen automatically.
If you continue to operate the machine after clearing the Auto Reset Notice screen, the
Auto Reset Notice screen is displayed again 30 seconds after suspending operation. If
no action is taken after clearing the Auto Reset Notice screen, the duration of time until
displaying the Auto Reset Notice screen again is shown as below.
The set duration time for Auto Reset is less than 5 minutes:
5 minutes (ex. 4 minutes 59 seconds is set for Auto Reset, but 5 minutes will be
applied.)
The set duration time for Auto Reset is 5 minutes or more: the set duration time
When the scanning of documents for transmission or copying is started, the Notification
Screen is displayed for 3 seconds to show the destination or the document number, etc.
Select [Notification Screen] from the Accessibility Settings screen to modify the duration
of time for displaying the Notification Screen. (Default setting is 3 minutes)
Select from [3 second], [10 second], and [60 second] to set the duration of time.
Select [No Limit] to display the Notification Screen until [OK] on the Notification Screen
is touched.
