Troubleshooting
Condition
The copied image is
skewed.
The copied image has
folds.
The Copy function cannot
be set.
Transmission
Condition
The document is not
scanned.
The document is skewed
during scanning.
The image received at the
receiver is not clear.
A blank sheet is printed at
the receiving station.
Cause
The document guide plate has not been
adjusted properly.
The document is not placed correctly on
the scanning glass.
Dirt or dust on the glass surface is causing
trouble (when the Duplexing Document
Feeder is used).
The paper is not placed correctly in the
tray.
The paper is not placed correctly in the

The paper is curled or damp.
The Interrupt mode is on.
Cause
The document is too thick.
The document is too thin, or too small.
The scanning area is dirty.
