Installing the CMC module

Prerequisites

components inside the system.
Steps
1. Unpack the CMC module and prepare it for installation.
2. Slide the CMC module into the enclosure until the CMC module connector engages with the pins on
the midplane.
3. Connect the cables to the CMC module.

The SD card slot on the CMC module supports an optional WWN/MAC feature that allows slot-based
WWN/MACs for the sleds, simplifying sled installation and replacement.
