The following table provides information on the operational power status of an expansion card when it is
replaced in the PCIe slot.

PCIe module indicators

The PCIe expansion card slots are warm-swappable. An expansion card is powered down when the
compute sled associated to it is turned off.
The PCIe module indicators provide the following information about the PCIe slots inside the modules:
Power
Description
indicator
pattern
Steady Blue
The slot is receiving power.
Blinking Blue
The ID button on the front panel is pressed. The selected compute sled and its
associated components including LEDs on the slot blink.
Off
Power supply to the slot is off, and the expansion card can be removed.
Attention
Description

The slot is in fault condition.
Off
The slot is operating normally.
