Removing Air Duct
Remove the air duct when installing or removing the following component or changing internal cable connection:
TPM Kit
DIMM (memory module)
Backup device
Additional 2.5-inch HDD Cage
2.5-inch PCIe SSD installation kit
1. See steps 1 to 8 in Chapter 2 (1.3 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
2. Lift the air duct, and remove it from the server.

Important
Before removing the air duct, put cables aside. Otherwise, cables may be damaged if
they are pulled together with air duct.
