9. Aligning the pins of the processor with the socket, insert the processor into
the socket. The processor should drop into the socket without requiring any
force.

10. Lower the locking bar completely.
11. If the heat sink does not already have thermal interface material applied to it,
follow the instructions packaged with the applicator and apply thermal
grease to the top of the processor.
12. Place the heat sink on top of the processor. See Figure 4-14.
13. Install both heat sink clips as follows:
Place the heat sink clip on the center tab of the retention module and
rotate the clip towards the heat sink to engage the center tab. Repeat
this step with the second clip.
