1.1.2 Installing firmware

Note:
• Do not disconnect the AC cord or USB cable from the machine or computer during
installing.
• If the install is failed, turn OFF the machine and turn it back on. The machine enters
the firmware install mode automatically. Continue to the operation procedures (2) and
later below.
<Operating Procedure>
(1) Connect the machine to your computer using the USB cable.
(2) Open the temporary folder and double-click "PDS-5000_FW_V×××.exe" or
"PDS-6000_FW_V×××.exe".
(3) The window below appears on the screen. Click the [Yes] button.
(4) The window below appears on the screen.
Installation starts.
(5) Upon completion of the installation, the window below appears and the machine turns
OFF.
Click the [OK] button. The window shown below closes.
