Step 4 Power on the gas fire extinguishing controller.
Step 5 If the red indicator on the heat detector blinks every 6 seconds, the heat detector is working
properly.
Step 6 Check that the new heat detector is working properly.

Send the faulty heat detector together with a Repair Notice to your local Huawei office for
repair.

7.3 Replacing a Gas Release Indicator

Procedure
Step 1 Use to screwdriver to loosen the screws that fasten the gas release indicator with its base and
remove the gas release indicator.
Step 2 Connect the cable to a new gas release indicator regardless of the polarity.
Step 3 Check that the new gas release indicator is working properly.
