About This Chapter
When a critical alarm or fault occurs during the O&M of the fire extinguishing system in the
container data center, rectify the fault by referring to the emergency operation guide in this
chapter.

8.1 Early Fire Alarm

Prerequisites
An early fire alarm is generated in the data center.
The emergency operations described in this section are for reference only.
If an early fire alarm is generated, determine whether to extinguish the fire or leave the area
immediately based on actual situation and contact the personnel on duty or local fire station.
Procedure
Step 1 Locate the fire alarm area based on the alarm information.
Step 2 Go to the area with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and communications
devices.
Do not enter the fire alarm area without determining the severity and impact of the fire.
Step 3 Observe the gas release indicator to check whether gas is released to extinguish the fire.
