7.4 Replacing an Audible and Visual Alarm

Procedure
Step 1 Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the cover of the audible and visual alarm from the base.
Step 2 Connect the cable to a new audible and visual alarm using a Phillips screwdriver. Ensure that
the polarities of the cable are correct.
Step 3 Install the audible and visual alarm into the base.
Step 4 Check that the new audible and visual alarm is working properly.

Follow-up Procedure
Send the faulty audible and visual alarm together with a Repair Notice to your local Huawei
office for repair.
