7.21 Connecting Ground Cables

The N8500 must be grounded to prevent damage caused by static electricity or dangers caused
by unexpected creepage.
Prerequisites
The cabinet has been connected to the group pole in the equipment room.

NOTE
Ground cables for a 2 U SUD is connected exactly like the ground cables for a 4 U SUD. Connecting
ground cables for a 4 U SUD is used as an example in this section.
Use the Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw on the ground point.
Protrude the screw through the OT of the ground cable and secure the screw to the ground
screw hole on the SUD.
