Completing self-loopback test
• When the result is normal
Start data communication with the target device.
 Configure the parameter settings with Engineering tool. (Page 422 PARAMETER SETTING)
 Turn OFF the power for the station with C24, and connect the cable to communicate with the target device.
 Turn ON the power for the station with C24.
• When the result is abnormal
Check an error description on the "Intelligent Function Module Monitor" screen of Engineering tool.
Check the error descriptions on the screens by bit-decoding the monitored value (16-bit integer). Each bit corresponds to the
following error description.

Description when corresponding bit
is ON
CH2 side: Un\G514
Error occurred on the CPU module.
The power supply capacity is insufficient.
Module is not mounted correctly.
Error on the base unit, extension cable, CPU
module, or C24 occurred.

CH2 side communication error
CH1 side communication error
Corrective action
Remove the cause of error
in the CPU module.
Review the power supply
capacity.
Mount the module properly.
Check for each module and
remove the cause of the
error.
Reconnect the cable
correctly.
Mount the module properly.
Reconnect the cable
correctly.
Review the test wiring
connection.
