Section 1:
Cylinders A, B and C move to their zero position.
Cylinder D does not move because it is already in the zero position.
Section 2:
The zero position is reached.
The output velocities of cylinders A, B and C specified by "BSPEED_A_NORM",
"BSPEED_B_NORM" and "BSPEED_C_NORM" are reduced to zero.
Section 3:
● Depending on the control, the status bits 8 ... 15 in ZSW1_TLS_PLC change to "false".
In this example:
– "a_in" (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 12)
– "b_out" (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 9)
– "c_out" (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 10)
● The "motion_terminated" status bit (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 3) changes to "true" when the
cylinders stop moving.
● The zero status bit (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 2) changes to "true" when the zero positions are
reached.
● Deactivate the move command by resetting the "move" control bit (STW1_PLC_TLS, bit 5).
● Deactivate "go to zero positions" mode by resetting the "move_zero" control bit
(STW1_PLC_TLS, bit 14).
7.2.3

"TLS jogging" mode

With this TLS mode, the spreader can be moved along the directions trim, list, and skew. Each
direction has a parameterized limit.
The spreader can only move in one of the three directions at any one time.
If several of these bits are set simultaneously, they are prioritized as follows:
1. Trim
2. List
3. Skew.
If the following control bits are set simultaneously, the system behaves as if no bit were set.
● "trim_right" and "trim_left"
● "list_water" and "list_land"
● "skew_clockwise" and "skew_counterclockwise"
If no time pause is implemented in the control to allow the spreader to change from one
direction of motion to another, e.g. from "trim_right" to "list _water", the output velocity of the
relevant cylinders is reduced to zero before the spreader starts to move in the new direction
("list_water" is this example).
