5.3.4 Replacing Injection Port Seals

Injury of Hand by Remover Tool
When removing a plunger seal, plunger wash seal and plunger
guide from the cylinder, the remover tool can injure your hand
or finger. Carefully read this instruction manual before starting
operation, and use care with remover tool.
The injection port seal should be replaced periodically every about
20,000 sample injections (0.5 year) as a standard.
Items to be prepared:
Injection port seal (P/N 889-0535)
O-ring P7 (included in P/N 889-0535 injection port seal)
Seal remover (P/N 889-0538)
Injection port removal tool (Remove tool) (P/N 894-1829)
Distilled water
(1) Detach the lid of the wash tray.
(2) Loosen the injection port with an injection port removal tool to
detach it from the injection valve.
