Adjusting Brightness and Contrast [DYNAMIC CONTRAST]
When set, the most optimal contrast ratio is adjusted according to the video.

NOTE:
• [DYNAMIC CONTRAST] cannot be selected in the following cases.
- When the input terminal is selected for [SUB INPUT] under [PIP/PICTURE BY PICTURE]
- When [EDGE BLENDING] → [MODE] is set to [ON]
- When [PICTURE SETTING] → [MODE] is set to [ZOOM] or [TILING]
- When [MULTI SCREEN] → [WHITE BALANCE] → [MODE] is set to [ON]
- When [GEOMETRIC CORRECTION] is enabled.
• [DYNAMIC CONTRAST] cannot be selected in the following cases.
- When [CONSTANT BRIGHTNESS] is set to [ON]
- When operating the on-screen menu (including during on-screen mute)
Adjusting Brightness [LIGHT MODE]
Adjust the brightness of the projector and save it for each input signal.
The adjustment will be valid if the [PICTURE] → [MODE] is set to [PROFESSIONAL]. (→ page 96, 128)

CONSTANT BRIGHTNESS
NOTE:
• [LIGHT ADJUST] cannot be selected in the following cases.
- When [WALL COLOR] is set to [WHITEBOARD]
- When [CONSTANT BRIGHTNESS] is set to [ON]
Dynamic contrast is disabled.
Most optimal settings for moving images.
Most optimal settings for static images. Rapidly follows any changes in the video.
Brightness can be adjusted in 1% increments.
The adjustment range will varydepending on the [REF. LIGHT MODE] settings.
NORMAL: 70–100%
SILENT, LONG LIFE: 70–90%
OFF
[CONSTANT BRIGHTNESS] mode will be canceled.
ON
Maintains the brightness that is in effect at the time [ON] is selected. Unless [OFF] is
selected, the same settings will remain in effect even when the projector is turned
off.
• To re-adjust the brightness, first turn this setting [OFF] before making further
adjustments.
NOTE:
• The [CONSTANT BRIGHTNESS] setting will not be saved for each input signal.
