3. Lower the bucket horizontally until the bottom touches the
ground.
4. Set lock lever (3) in the LOCK position (L).
5. Check the engine cooling water temperature and engine oil
pressure with the machine monitor.
If the coolant temperature gauge is in the red range, allow it
to cool until the indicator enters the green range, then stop
the engine. For details of the inspection and action to take,
see "TROUBLES AND ACTIONS (PAGE 3-194)".
If the engine oil pressure monitor lights up, stop the engine
immediately. For details of the inspection and action to take,
see "TROUBLES AND ACTIONS (PAGE 3-194)".
6. Stop the engine. For details on the procedure for stopping the
engine, see "STOPPING THE ENGINE (PAGE 3-147)".

MACHINE INSPECTION AFTER DAILY WORK

1. Walk around the machine and check the work equipment, machine exterior, and undercarriage, also check for
any leakage of oil or coolant. If any problems are found, repair them.
2. Fill the fuel tank.
3. Check the engine compartment for paper and debris. Clean out any paper and debris to avoid a fire hazard.
4. Remove any mud affixed to the undercarriage.
