TROUBLES AND ACTIONS

In cases of problems or causes which are not listed below, contact your Komatsu distributor for repairs.
Problem
Speed of travel, swing, boom, arm,
bucket is slow
Pump generates abnormal noise
(sucking in air)
Excessive rise in hydraulic oil

Track comes off

Boom rises slowly, does not rise

Main causes
Lack of hydraulic oil
Clogged element in hydraulic
tank strainer, lack of oil
Loose fan belt
Dirty oil cooler
Lack of hydraulic oil
Track too loose
Lack of hydraulic oil
Swing lock switch still applied
Remedy
Add oil to specified level, see
CHECK BEFORE STARTING
Clean, see EVERY 2000
HOURS SERVICE
( Check fan belt tension, replace)
