Free space – Amount of quota assigned but not used, in MB. Applies
when a quota has been assigned.
Usage – Amount of quota used, by percentage. Applies when a quota
has been assigned.

Managing Quotas

By default, all NAS users and groups have unlimited access to all NAS volumes.
Use this function to limit access by establishing a quota.
To make quota settings:
1.
Click the Subsystem
2.
Click the Administrative Tools
3.
Click the NAS
4.
Click the NAS Quota
5.
Click the Settings tab in Management View.
6.
Choose a NAS volume from the Volume dropdown menu.
7.
Choose an Account,
Group – Names are preceded by an @ character
User
8.
Click the Limited Quota option and enter a value in the MB field.
Sets the amount of data storage in megabytes.
9.
Click the Submit button.

Viewing Protocol Status

Protocols enable NAS service on your Host or PC's operating system.
To view the Protocol status:
1.
Click the Subsystem
2.
Click the Administrative Tools
3.
Click the NAS
4.
Click the Protocol Control
The list of Protocols and their respective status appears under the
Information tab in the Management Window.

Making Windows Protocol Settings

Protocols are disabled by default. Enable the protocols appropriate for your
Windows Hosts or PCs.
