specified period of HDD Standby Time.
3 parks the read/write heads, lowers rotation speed, and spins down
after the specified period of HDD Stopped Time.

Highlight Appliance Mode and press the spacebar to toggle between
Generic and Surveillance.
Generic sets writeback flush count to 128. Surveillance sets writeback
flush count to 64.
•
Highlight Spin Down Type and press the spacebar to toggle between All
drives and Spare drives only.
•
Highlight HDD Idle Time and press the backspace key to erase the
current value. Type a new interval value (1 to 1440 minutes, or 0 to
disable).
•
Highlight HDD Standby Time and press the backspace key to erase the
current value. Type a new interval value (1 to 1440 minutes, or 0 to
disable).
•
Highlight HDD Stopped Time and press the backspace key to erase the
current value. Type a new interval value (10 to 1440 minutes, or 0 to
disable).
•
Highlight Wake on SAS and press the spacebar to toggle between
Enable and Disable.
•
Highlight Rescue Mode and press the spacebar to toggle between
Enable and Disable.
Rescue Mode enables ASUS Storage to boot from a USB drive.
6.
Press Ctrl-A to save your settings.
Locating the Controller
To locate this controller:
1.
From the Main Menu, highlight Subsystem Management and press Enter.
2.
Highlight Controller Management and press Enter.
3.
Highlight the controller you want and press Enter.
4.
Highlight Locate Controller and press Enter.
The Controller Status LED blinks green for one minute.
