If the Controller Status LED is amber, restart the subsystem. See ―Restarting the
Subsystem‖ on page 130 (ASUS Storage Management) or page 280 (CLU).
If the Controller Status LED continues to display amber after startup, contact
ASUS Technical Support. See page 402.
The Dirty Cache LED flashes during input/output operation. If the LED shines
amber and the power is off, there is unsaved data in the cache. Do NOT power
down the ASUS Storage while this LED is on. See ―Browser Does Not Connect to
ASUS Storage Management‖ on page 396 for more information.
If the Battery LED is amber or red, try reconditioning the battery. See
―Reconditioning a Battery‖ on page 139 or page 220. If the condition returns,
replace the battery.
If a Fan LED is amber or red:
Identify the malfunctioning fan. See ―Viewing Enclosure Information‖ on

page 136 or page 217.
Replace the fan. See ―Replacing a Cooling Fan‖ on page 313.
