Copying to adjacent
cells
Fill Right and Fill Down
provide
a handy
shortcut
when
you want
to copy
the
contents of the active cell across a row or down a column. This is useful
when
you want
to copy
formulas.
When copying formulas, Spreadsheet
automatically
adjusts the relative
references.
• To copy a formula
to adjacent
cells:
1. Select
a range
of cells starting
with the cell containing
the formula
to copy.
2. Select
Fill Down
from the Cell menu
to copy the formula
to the selected
cells beneath
it.
OR
Select Fill Right from the Cell menu to copy the formula to the selected
cells right of the original.
The formula
appears
in the new locations:

Copied formulas

Cut, Copy,
and Paste work
the same
way in Spreadsheet
as
they do in other
programs.
Cut and Copy
places
the selected
cells on the
clipboard;
paste
retrieves
any previously
cut or copied
information
from the
clipboard.
You can also click on
the Cut, Copy,and
Paste buttonsfrom
the Advanced
Functionstool bar
(see page 68).
• To copy or move information:
1. Select
the cell, range,
row(s),
or column(s)
you want
to copy
or move.
2. To copy
the selection,
press
COPYI to move
it, press
CUT.
3. Select
the first cell where
you want
to copy or move
the information.
4. Press PASTE.
The values
arwl fot_ulas
appear
in the new location
with
the first
cell
of
the copied
selection
appean'ng
in the destination
cell.
