(1) ON/OFF Conditions of LEDs
The following describes the ON/OFF conditions of LEDs on the 8G FC Switch.
Check the ON/OFF status of each LED to take required action.
ID LED

Illuminating in blue or OFF
IMPORTANT:
If the ID LED does not illuminate in blue or is not OFF after passage for three minutes
or longer from power-on, a fault may occur in the 8G FC Switch. Contact your service
representative.

If the status LED does not illuminate in green after passage for three minutes or longer
from power-on, a fault may occur in the 8G FC Switch. Contact your service

Check the interface connectivity
between CPU Blade and the 8G
FC Switch.

Check if the power of the 8G FC
Switch is set to ON and the 8G FC
Switch is started normally if set to
ON.
Check if fans in Blade Enclosure
work normally.
Check if the ambient temperature
of installation location satisfies the
operation uarantee condition.
Check port status LEDs.
Wait for three minites or longer.
Check the port status LED.
