Chapter 2 Convenient Features

Internal Flash Memory (only on disc)
Manages Internal Flash Memory with the following commands.
a) Check the status
Checks whether Internal Flash Memory is installed and accessible.
POST message will be changed depending on the result of this command.
The commands (4)-b) and (4)-c) below can be executed when Internal Flash Memory is detected.
Connected: EXPERSSBUILDER can be started by pressing <F3> key
(<F3> Internal Flash Memory is displayed on the screen).
Not connected: EXPERSSBUILDER cannot be started by pressing <F3> key
b) Initialize
Clears the data in Internal Flash Memory and initializes (formats) it.
Note that all data in Internal Flash Memory is deleted.
c) Update
Copies data of the EXPRESSBUILDER disc or other media to Internal Flash Memory. The data is
overwritten and all previous data is cleared.

The parameter file and RAID configuration data are retained.
