Send and receive message frames for process data

In the SINAMICS drive line-up, the STARTER commissioning tool offers two options for
commissioning a CANopen interface:
● Using predefined telegrams ("Predefined Connection Set") and COB IDs.
● Using free PDO mapping (user-defined telegrams).
Note
Recommendation
In the first step, activate the "Predefined Connection Set" and then update the preconfigured
parameters in accordance with your application in the free PDO mapping.
For automatic commissioning, the "Predefined Connection Set" is already set.
