Click Administrative Tool and then click Event Viewer from Control Panel.

In Windows Logs, select the type of log.
Application records events related to applications.
Security records events related to security.
System records events that occur in Windows system components.
3.
On the Action menu, click Save All Event As.
4.
In File name, type the file name of the archived log.
5.
In Save as type, select the type of the log file you want to save, and then click Save.
